I want to add a scrape tree to my 1/10 acre woods plot.  There is no good tree to hang a grape vine in, so I am thinking of "planting" a red cedar.  I can get info online and watch clips on YouTube, but I'd like to hear tips and experiences from actual hunters in the Northeast.

Pics are a buWGI_0003.thumb.JPG.ab1aaa1bca66918b47362be7a3b96f08.JPGck in said woods plot and a buck going after a red cedar branch I moved from an active scrape.

Something like this might work.  There's a decent sized white ash that I left in the plot.

I put mine on a T-post - works pretty well.
