Too many haha

Ohio buck years ago that came into a mock scrape I made one night, giant body and rack.  Neighbor shot him in gun season 2 days after my buddy and I left.  Saw the mount the following year, probably the biggest bases I've ever seen on a buck.

Size comparison, this buck was standing in the same spot and is probably 120" buck

On cam multiple nights a week in 2018 than just disappeared. Last year at my boys football practice  I was talking to another one of the dads. I found out live close I showed him the trail cam picture and he showed me a picture of a chewed up dead he found fall of 19, could still tell it was him.

This one really hurt. Had him on cam at my camp in Sullivan county. He disappeared very early that season never to be seen again. Found out about a year later he was shout by a youth hunter about 3/4 of a mile away from that stop during the youth rifle season. Apparently he won’t the county big buck contest that year

I've got many deer that I didn't get. This one I learned the most from and had patterned it's whole life from summer range to shifted fall range and back, mostly on our property. First photo is him at 3.5 yrs old as a perfect 8pt 30 yards upwind from the rifle stand opening weekend of gun season. We found his sheds and he was just under 120". One neighbor ended up clipping him that gun season. Following year he grew a funky rack, a little stunted, but lots of character. 4.5 yrs old and I was only after him. I had him patterned and sat in that same stand. by chance the other neighbor shot him before he made it through the swamp to me. I could almost see it go down.

this buck was another one. photo doesn't do it any justice. it was a massive bodied buck that dwarfed everything else on the farm in trail came pictures, even a buck that ended up dressing out into the 160's. i had him patterned to the day and he made a similar shift as the previous buck i've posted. local that lives down the road doing some road hunting, poached him out of our swamp. had our other neighbor recover him as it made it onto his property. my dad (the owner of "our" farm) and the neighbor discussed the issue with the local but didn't press charges. word around town spread fast and hoping it doesn't happen again with him.

can't find a picture but this one i had using a property i previously owned.  it was 10 acres and i did every habitat improvement i could think of. it was already good acreage being a thick creek bottom leading into a 10+ acre ag field. i had it coming through every day for 1.5 weeks straight, yet it was a ghost to the neighbors. guy trespassed down the road and shot it. 7 yr old trail cam photos are all on a drive in packed away in storage here at the house.
