Long Island Butcher

Anyone have a good deer butcher on Long Island that they recommend?  My buddy lives in the Commack area and is looking for someone who does a good job.  Had been using a local place and was never very happy with their work.  They closed the business.  Had another guy in East Islip who was excellent- but, he doesn't seem to be available this year.  Looking for someone who does a professional job.  Thanks for any recommendations.

I've used Carrie Stevens in centereach, not a huge fan of the return that I got. I have a guy in Mount Sinai that came highly recommended, haven't used him though. PM me for details if you want.

I personally never use him as I butcher my self, but my friends all use him. He's a member of my archery club in Huntington, but they all keep going to him year after year.  I'll see if I can find his number and Ill PM you.

@virgil the guy in Islip is that "Joe the Butcher"? He's not available?? Do you have any details? I've used him several times the guy was great...trying to get in touch with him since yesterday.

No, different guy in East Islip. But, I’d love to get contact information for Joe if you don’t mind. The guy in EI isn’t always available because he often upstate hunting when we need him and his place can’t put deer in the walk-in.

Thats a name that I haven’t heard in a very long time. I remember when he started years ago. 
 

Not sure who the guy in Mt Sinai is, but there is Tommy the Butcher in Rocky Point who does excellent work.
