Windy days

What do you think deer like a windy/ gusty days. I have shot some nice bucks on windy days but I never see alot of deer movement. 

If you had to pick would it be tight spots with cover or field edges.

I’d agree. I’m sitting in a stand where I’ve killed 26 deer over the years-looking over 5 acres of fields. Haven’t seen a deer today. Pretty unusual for this stand.

Wind blocks. Low spots out of wind. Or open fields with a wind block on prevailing side. Open-ish fields surprise me sometimes but I think they know they can’t hear or scent danger approaching as easy so they move to more open ground at times to rely on vision more.
