Wasn’t sure if this fit in one of the other areas. Guides and Outfitters seems to be more hunting based.

My buddy and I started reserving mid June for an annual fishing trip. We want to focus more on heading south vs NEUS. We typically make it a 4-day trip. Down first morning first thing, charters next two days, and then come home fourth day.

Our first trip was down to east coast Florida for one day of inshore and one day of offshore. It was a blast. Our inshore guide was “the guy” locally and we will return to fish with him probably in 2026.

We want to visit a different place this time and maybe do two days of inshore this time around. We are not particularly picky on game fish since we’re locked into the dates (19-22 this year I think). Who has experience with guides in SC / GA / West Coast FL / AL / MS / LA?

Who was your east coast FL guide? Captain Carl Ball is terrific for inshore permit and bonefish out of Biscayne Bay.

Jeremy Neff out of Jensen Beach / Stuart. Go Fish Stuart I think is his site/name. He goes down to Biscayne too and does it all. He isn’t a flashy charter captain and knows how to catch fish. Figured that out in first five minutes with him. We grabbed live bait from a bait boat and he wanted us to spend 5-10 min casting a specific floating dock nearby. Bam. Multiple snook. Another charter boat stopped over and made some comments about how only Jeremy could do that. The other boats at the bait boat were wondering what he was doing. He is well known locally in events too.
