Tag Advice

I have a young man who would like me to take him deer hunting during the Holiday Hunt. He hasn't purchased his license or tags yet. What would be the proper tag for him to buy for a hunt over the holidays?

I've taken him squirrel hunting a few times, and he thinks he'd like to try his hand at Deer Hunting.

Muzzloader tag. I believe the late season of bow or Muzzloader only.

First you can only bow, crossbow and muzzleloader hunt in the in the holiday season. You will need the regular license and the bow/muzzleloader ether sex tag.

He'll need a big game and ML as Larry mentioned above.  Remember, the reg season tag turns into a either sex tag during the late and holiday hunt.

He will need to purchade a regular big game license and a ML license and he will get two tags both of which can be used on bucks or does from December 26 thru January 1.

Thanks Wolc!  Good to know it bucks too... for some reason I was thinking the Holiday hunt was doe only.  Although I hope my buck tag is long gone by then.
