Reveal Battery Indicator vs. Low Battery Text Notifications?

I have a couple Reveals that I’m getting text notifications for saying they’ve consumed 80% battery life. According to the transmitted pics I’m getting, both still show 3 out of 4 bars for battery life. Not sure what to believe.? Don’t want to go there and replace batteries if it’s not necessary.

In my experience, if it's showing 80% or less, there's a good chance they are a lot lower than that.  I've had cams that were dead as a doornail and the app was showing 100%.   

I've had fantastic luck this year with external battery packs.

Time to change batteries!  At only 20% remaining, the Tactacams should be showing a battery bar in red indicating they are low. Yellow is down to 30% and if green, you’re typically good to go for a while.

What battery packs are you running?

I typically wait for my cameras to indicate that they haven't checked in for a day or more before going to change the batteries.  You can see that info in the "Cameras" menu in the app - there should be a clock icon next to each camera indicating how long it has been since that camera checked in.
