I know we have beer and hard liquor, but I don’t think we have a wine one. Figured I put it here. Had these 3 great ones yesterday.

Ah, no longer teetotaling? Can we make this a vineyard hunt thread as well? Or at the very least, share tasting notes…(what was the orange zest added to?)

Bought my wife a wine fridge for  Christmas. It arrived while i was hunting at my cabin. It has already been plugged in and being used lol.

Less wrapping to do this year.

Any recommendations would be welcome, she drinks them all.

I’m really only into red but I’ll buy Rose in the summer for Mom’s here. What $ range you looking for? I have some suggestions.

No price range really. The quantity of bottles will depend on the price though. My wife is a red or white tbh, not so much Rose. Thanks

In order price range-ish, below are a few reds I suggest. But, wine is very much a personal taste thing:

juggernaut and decoy are each solid for under $25. Banshee too

prisoner for around $50, both the red blend and cab (one is red, one is blue). Also, Jordan (see pic above) and Flowers.

for $50-$100 in no particular order: Stag’s Leap Artemis (see pic above), Duckhorn, Caymus, Cakebread.

i don’t really drink wine over $100. So, my only suggestion there that i love but wish it was way cheaper is Opus One

Dude, offer tasting notes. Also, a dry sparkling rose is nothing to be shy about.

Everybody tastes different things. I was just offering some of my go to’s.

Just had a stags leap tasting at the liquor store. Probably the best Cabernet Sauvignon I’ve ever had $64 a bottle. My cart was full so I passed on buying it but I think I’m swinging back in to grab a bottle to stash away for a special occasion.

So that’s actually a totally different winery. Stag’s Leap and Stags’ Leap are separate. Google the story. Interesting stuff. I love the Stag’s Leap Artemis
