DirtTime Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 I was looking back through some old pics and started comparing how the colors of the stocks on my rifles blends in. The pics were of the rifles leaning against trees. The gray and OD green seemed to blend in, but FDE and FE tans stood out. A little black to break up the FDE improved the tans a lot. Anyone else using synthetic stocks in varying colors and do any comparing?
cervidchasers Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 Maybe this is just me. Honestly with rifles i dont worry about stock color, if deer can pick that out I should have already shot them by that time. Bolt Action 1
mowin Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 There's been some that are definitely better looking, but do they preform better?
DirtTime Posted December 3, 2024 Author Posted December 3, 2024 Everyone knows scary black does more damage then any other color! Just ask the .............. It was just an observation I made looking at the pictures. I guess I was sort of curious if the stock color made a difference when people bought/buy firearms when going synthetic stocks. mowin and cervidchasers 2
