Splitear Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 My wife has booked an 8 day excursion to Paris and Belgium (Bruges) for us in late February to celebrate my 40th. I’m looking forward to a laid back and relatively non-structured trip. I’m not sure there’s any place in particular in either city that I’m set on going other than visiting some sites from the film “In Bruges” (which is why I want to go). I’m not looking to book up my dance card, but does anyone have suggestions for either city that are worth a visit? GreeneHunter and mowin 2

mowin Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 Sounds like a great trip. My dad was in Belgium, but that was during WW2. Splitear 1
virgil Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 My wife and I were in Belgium a few years ago and loved it. Especially Brugge. There was an abbey- St. Sixtus?- not far from the city with incredible beer. Supposedly the best beers in the world. That was a great day trip. I loved the old part of Brugge. Ate a lot of waffles and frites. Splitear 1
