NRA Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 NRA-ILA routinely points out that it is more informative to watch anti-gun politicians and officials’ behavior than to listen to the platitudes they spew about enacting gun control to protect the public. View the full article
dbHunterNY Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 i get the unapologetic pardoning of his son. even the BS pre-November cover his own ass talk that he wouldn't pardon his son. stuff like that happens all the time with lesser than high-profile cases. if you have the means to protect your own then so be it. however, it does put it out there that he blatantly lied the whole time to the public. it also makes everything he said prior about his serious concerns regarding gun laws and gun violence a sad and pathetic joke. Agree with everything here. I actually dont blame him for wanting to pardon his son as I believe most of us here would do the same. The guy had nothing to lose, but it puts a hole in the democrats gun control theories. That's assuming they don't have a problem with him pardoning him.

That's assuming they don't have a problem with him pardoning him. it's an easily and expected washing of hands, not if but when they bastardize the idea he did it. they can say the whole time they don't agree with it, but fact still exists that everybody will believe the next President under Democrat endorsement would do the same. it sits the same with voters on contemplating whether or not a Democrat will be anti-2A. there's no reason to contemplate and assumed they'll fit the mold until they openly prove otherwise.
DoubleDose Posted December 10, 2024 Posted December 10, 2024 IMO, it's bigger than just 2A and gun control. This screams the secret out loud. We (the politicians & our families) are above the law! and it is not equal justice under the law. mowin 1
