Was walking around on some private looking for squirrels and this coyotecomes running towards me. I'm pretty sure she had no idea I was there. Shot her in the head with .22, she went down instantly. Had to put 2 more in her head at close range to fully put her down.

Congrats, any plans for the hide, or a mount?

@HeavyUserand @Doebuck1234 it looks like you guys are both using the SamsungBrowser on Android.  While it is Chrome based, it's known to cause that space issue with this site software and isn't officially supported by it.  Would be best to use the real Chrome browser included with Android phones rather than Samsungs proprietary customization of it.

Will do, thank you!

I just dropped him off at the taxidermist. At the very least I'm going to get his hide tanned, if the price is right I'd do a full mount just cause it was my first.

Congrats on the yote! Nice looking .22 as well. What is it?

Thank you!

It's a Savage MKII Minimalist with a little Burris Droptine scope. I just discovered .22s a few months ago. It quickly became my favorite gun/caliber.

Tru-Life Taxidermy wanted 300 just to tan the hide and 1900 for a full mount.

Crazy how I can buy a new coyote hide on etsy for 60 bucks....

They do amazing work over there but got dang that price is a HARRRD pill to swallow.

If your in the same area as tru-life Taxidermy not far from there is D&H Taxidermy in Matamoris PA.

They have done a number of Deer Heads for myself & close friends as well as bear mounts.

Excellent work !
