NYRturkeycall Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 What's your best estimate for a 2017 1500 Silverado oil change, front brakes (pads and rotors), and tire rotation. Standard parts nothing fancy. Keep in mind I'm on long Island. I know labor prices are high but boy was I surprised at the new pricing. Want to see your estimates before I surprise you all. Chef Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 Oil change full synthetic 130 front breaks and rotors 400 ish balance and rotate 150 since they are already off for the breaks so just under $700 Quote
just lucky Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 100 for LOF, 30 for rotation, parts around 300, labor for brakes around 200. Quote
Robhuntandfish Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 I manage a transportation fleet and 650+ is about spot on. Labor rates are now $120/hr plus. Heavy truck and bus rates are significantly more. $90 for synthetic oil/filter change and overall fluid and operations check, $450 + for brakes. Tire rotation should be free if you bought the tires there. NYRturkeycall 1 Quote "it's pointless for humans to paint scenes of nature when they can go outside and stand in it"- Ron Swanson
