Mossberg 500 12ga

I got a buddy looking to sell his moss berg 500 12 gauge. It comes with bird barrel and slug barrel. Plus slugs and some skeet load shells. Is $350 a good deal? I've seen and checked it out when he got it this past summer. Seemed in great shape used obviously. I'm always looking to help people out in need. Can't ever pass up a gun even though I'll probably never use it. They are investments and can always make money.

Not in the market for one as I already have two of them.One is my deer setup and another for birds.Great guns for the $.I'd say he could get a little more than that IMO,especially having both barrels

I'm probably buying it. A weapon is a weapon to have. Probably sit around and passed down to wife and kids when something happens to me they get something for it if they don't want it.

Great guns I have one on 20g , pretty much bullet proof ,some have issues with the tang safety but other than that solid work horse shotgun

I've had the mossberg 20gauge was my first weapon. Awesome all around deer and small game. It's my bunnies  gun under dogs. Boy is it fun and never failed me yet.

This one will be a corner weapon in my house with slugs. Amen can't ever have enough guns. Eventually they will fucking learn. That laws will be abidded. God bless America and our second amendment!

I have a 535. First gun I've ever had and its still in perfect condition. I fell in a river one year duck hunting and it froze up solid. Put it next to a fire to thaw and it worked flawlessly once it thawed. Looking at getting one in 20 for a back up to my MZ for the LI hunting I do.

My first shotgun I bought with my own money was a Mossberg 500 vent rib full choke and you could slam fire it. I got it at FW Woolworth for 90 dollars I got 10% off because I worked there in the stock room while going on high school. I still have it today

With the ammo its probably worth it. A used Mossberg 500 IMO drops value a bit once it leaves the Dealer shelf and is fired. And I'm a Mossberg shotgun fan as well. I own a dozen or more mossberg guns.

People consider them cheap budget guns, but they get the job done. I honestly think you can get the same for cheaper but its totally up to you. Brand new you can get that combo with a scope for 400-450$.

I recently picked one up with just a fixed modified barrel for 120$ 

Its all about what the gun means or will mean to you. and If you really need the $350 or not lol

2 12s and a 20

 

i have had issues with the safety on both of the 12s.   I think it’s use.  The 20 didn’t see much field time 

 

300 is a great price.  Is that slug barrel riffled or smooth

 

Does it have 3 chokes or just one
