Splitear Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 I’m seriously thinking about getting the Mark IV Hunter with the blued barrel. For those who own a MK IV, what do you think of it?
nywaw Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 I have the MKIII Hunter that I bought used, really fun to shoot. Came with a holo sight. Think previous owner used to compete with it. Splitear 1
PraiseDiana Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 I have a Mark IV Competition and love it! Absolute tack driver. Splitear 1
mowin Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Had one in SS for pistol leagues. Great pistol. Accurate and ate all kinds of ammo without jamming.
46rkl Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 I own one and have a lot of fun with it. My wife loves to shoot it and it’s always fun to try sneaking up on the squirrels. Like others said, never had an issue with it and exceptional balance in my hand.
JJBat150 Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 I have a number of Ruger Mark's - 2, 3, and 4. All are the 22/45 variant except for an older Mark 1. The 22/45's are functionally the same as what you're looking at; the grip angle and angle of the magazine are the big differences. Nice and accurate shooting guns, balance well, and will pretty much eat any ammo you feed it even when dirty. The Mark IV's are a lot easier to disassemble / reassemble that the earlier versions.
