You’ll be “over” BP real quick.

Unless you need a cooler or soft goods with J Morris signature on it.

Been to many of them.  Prices are decent and generally well stocked.

There is one in Utica about 25 minutes from me.   For the most part a lot of things are more expensive.  That being said they often have great deals.   Just bought a $990 shotgun for $749 and manufacturing rebate of $75.   Plus when your looking for something you can get it.   Even ammo.  They won't ship to your house but will ship to store and you just pick it up.  No one around here had any duck loads left.  They had plenty.  I think hunting clothing there is very expensive.  But lures and fishing gear isn't too bad.  Plus you can go there and look big ticket items over before looking online.

I went to bass pro shop when I was in myrtle beach. Seemed like a nice store. They had employees going around talking to people about winning a trip so we signed up. Stupid us. Got home and hecklers wouldn't stop calling about timeshares. When you asked for more information they just wanted your credit card number. Horrible finally was able to get my name of the list never again. But will look forward to checking out new store

Lol, ya I never sign up for any of those contests.  My wife does, then gets pissed at all the spam calls and emails.  She signed me up to bath and body works a few years ago to get an additional coupon, and I was not happy.  Still getting crap from them.

We went to Bass Pro Auburn yesterday to see Santa.  He didn't engage with the kids at all, and no lap sitting for the photo.

They do have a very good selection of fishing tackle there, I usually walk out with something,  but yesterday left empty handed.

This will be slightly bigger then the Utica one ,I was talking to the GC their paper work and pencil pushers want it opened by mid summer .

I have a Cabela's/bass pro credit card with lots of store points. I for one am looking forward to it and will no doubt shop there often .

We went to the one up in Niagara on the Lake Ontario on a couple of Super Bowl Sundays.  It’s about an hour away from home.

I bought a few smaller items and checked out some bigger stuff so I knew what I wanted to order by mail when we got home.  The big fish tanks were cool and our kids liked looking at those and the boats.

I stopped ar the one in Auburn once also on a cross state trip to NJ.  Haven’t ever been inside the Cabelas, closer to home, but I did meet a guy in the parking lot there once, to swap trolling motors with one that I found on Craigslist.

I've been to many BPS, from Ft Lauderdale to NY. I really enjoy the fishing section. And have bought a good amount of hunting stuff there too. Really looking forward to the new one opening in the Capital District. No doubt that I'll be dropping some coin there as well. Might even meet up with some NYWAW members there!
