Let's start it off!

I went out this afternoon trying to find the antlers off of a buck who was missing one side on the morning of 12/18. I had the one side in the bag 9 minutes into my walk and then spent another 3 hours trying to match it without luck.  I'll try again after the snow melts there. Not a bad start, 10.5" G2...

I was headed down to sit in a stand this afternoon and decided to walk through a couple areas that were destroyed with sign the other day where the deer and turkeys were digging through the snow looking for acorns.  Thought maybe I could get lucky and pick up a early shed. Sure enough, stumbled on to #2 of the season. Looks like it'd been down for 2 weeks already...

still some holding here. we don't have the deer density i feel like some of this snow has to melt too. hard to find all our little skippers left otherwise. hopefully it warms up just a little so i can get out on public land and cover some ground before the snow melts completely to do some scouting.

I think I'm going to brave the cold this afternoon and hit up the spot where I found #2 in this thread to see if the deer are still digging for acorns. These are the target sheds, last pic I have of him so idk is he had dropped or not?
