My boys have started a Duluth tradition. Last year I got the oh shit kit. This year I got the WTF kit. Life is good.

My mom also got me a hoodie that is covered in whitetail big whitetail bucks. Even though I'm not interested in hunting. They're still trying to keep the love I used to have of it alive.

Too much drama family involved. Lots of Jealousy and people not doing the right thing. Will push anyone to quit. I hunt state land that is all surrounded by private land everyone baits corn apples carrots. I'm on my feet walking can only follow so far lol till you hit private on most state land I hunt. Used to hunt my wife's families property till they got mad at me killing deer and them not and I was asked not to hunt there anymore. But they want me to push drives f them not anymore. I've done it all killed deer nuisance hunting regular hunting everything. I like being warm at my local legion now. I'll guess weights when they bring them in to big buck contest..If I get out again I do if not I'm happy with wat I've accomplished. No buck forms here few sets out in barrel in garage. Plus my 14 and 12 year old boys aren't into hunting so makes it easy to walk away. They'll fish hopefully I can get them on safe ice for ice fishing. But PS5 gaming got them.

I've read a few of these posts from you and just have to say..... It's not the hunting itself so why give it up?  Find a quiet piece of state land and just go out and enjoy it on your own.  Hunting itself doesn't cause issues it might rather be the people/family you were hunting with....why give up something you enjoyed? 

And if your going to give up something to improve your life give up the drinking instead.   This will cause you more issues than hunting ever will.  A good hunting/fishing buddy is a real treasure to lose over drinking maybe it's time to put that away and enjoy life without it.

Take your kids for sporting clays, trap or skeet. They will return to the outdoors

I’m a little late to this party but I want to echo a little bit of what @Robhuntandfish is saying and that is the bottom of the bottle is no one’s friend it’ll take you for all your worth in the end. 
 

I don’t know you from Adam but I’ve seen friends take this road before and it rarely ended well.
