Lets have a bit of fun , what does my 2011 archery buck score

With the other what's  he score threads , i figured why not . I had him officially measured in 2012 by the nybbc . So whats your guess on gross and net . 
The winner will receive a all expense paid at a  boy from yours  truly .

Looks wide, but not much for tines. Tough pics, but let's say Rough math for gross:

• Beams average = 17" x 2 = 34" total
• Brows average = 3" x 2 = 6"
• G2's average = 5" x 2 = 10"
• G3's average = 3" x 2 = 6"
• Mass = 22-24" total?
• Inside spread hard to tell, 16 to 18"?
• That gets me to 94 to 97" total gross at best?

 

• Final Guess from 2 bad pics = 94 3/8" Gross

Hmm , bad photos ? I thought they were pretty good . Shows tine / main beam  length and width .

I wana amend my first choice.   I said 104.  I’m going  with 89.

It’s amazing to me how big u think bucks are if you never saw a really big buck.  My first 8 point with the bow was a monster.   Biggest deer I saw in 20 years.  Biggest my dad saw in 45.   All my friends and neighbors were over.  No one could believe  I shot someting so large.   Ppl were calling me bill jordan.   Ppl were saying that deer looked like a milk river mt buck.   ( reeltree. Was about the only hunting show on tv besides buckmaster).  

lmao looking back.  This was mid 90s.  I called nybbc to get him scored.    I figured high 120s.   Ppl were saying I’m crazy.   They were  Saying from 130 to 145.   Lol.   Well after drying and score he was 114 4/8 gross. 112 2/8 net.
 

      Based on teeth 3 ppl said 3 1/2.    He weighed 134 dressed.   

score don’t matter to me    The experience and joy of the hunt   The chase   The harvest     I try to get the biggest buck I have on cam  now        But everyone decides what’s a trophy to themselves

I was off a year i shot him in 2010, Wolc you are the closest you just about called net right on the money .  He gets most of his inches from his main beam length. In person he looks impressive with those almost 2 foot long main beams .  But the memory  of the hunt is whats the best for me. I do like guessing the inches on a deer just to see if I'm close though . And that's why i posted , just to have a little fun and see what others thought .

That’s great he scored that much.  Hard from pics.   I figured beams were only 19 with a 16 inch spread.  And i had 18 on mass.   
 

great deer.    To someone that never ever saw a 90 class buck would think that deer was 125.  Back in the 60s up in the mts my pop thought he got a good one if the antlers were bigger than the ears.

I know its been said  that taking a picture from the top  side of the rack makes them look bigger than  they are . But the  second  photo really does do him justice ,  shows his main beam length and spread . But yes i agree with your, a  guy thats only seen a 90 class buck thinking it was bigger. I thought he was till i got him measured , it has helped me on guessing size of racks now . Not that I'm a pro by any means , funny thing is i had a  easily true 125-130 come through before him, but i couldn't grunt him in . But this guy came in  on a string .

Cool, those are some impressive beams on that one.  You didn’t happen to check the chest girth did you ?
