Already have plans in place as long as @Bucksnbows is available again.  Hopefully this time he won't be getting a back massage and can at least hold the flashlight.

My freezer is now in the best shape that it’s been in years, but I’m still looking forward to our mid- September early antlerless gun season, right here in wny.  That’s become my favorite.  I’ve grown to like hunting deer in short or no sleeves, and antlers really are not all they’re cracked up to be.  

Soon, I’ll start shopping for a new Savage 220, and get it dialed in on the range with the optimum sabot loads.  I’ve never shot a 20 ga before, so it will be all new to me.  Should cut down on the shoulder bruising anyhow.

Someone I know just bought a savage 220 in 20ga. He only bowhunted previously. So far he likes it and next season will be his first using a gun

Nice. I booked VRBO today  and an airplane ticket for one of the guys that cannot stay the whole 2 weeks. 10/26-11/9 in Kentucky.

Some survivors in my plot before dark.  A button buck, spike, and a racked buck eating what is left of my brassicas.  I have some maple tops down in the woods for them, as well as poplar and one hemlock.
