Sako 85s .338 Federal. Shoots really great. Low round count rifle. Previous owner reported great accuracy with factory Barnes ammo. I loaded 200gr Speer Hot Cors over Varget and it was very accurate in my two groups I shot with it. Only reason for selling is making room for a custom. Will include Talley bases to make the deal. $1650 shipped from individual to FFL. If someone wants a package, I’ve got scopes I’d include for an additional cost.

338 Federal doesn't get enough love for a 308 case derived cartridge.  i've thought about getting one in the past. if handloaded to push it a little harder with heavier bullets than a 308 it knocks things dead without the abuse of say a 35 whelen or 338-06AI.

You should buy it. It’s a great cartridge, and a Sako 85s is a great rifle.

I have a Sako 85 classic. It is by far, the best rifle I own. Smooth as butter, and a tack driver.

Good luck with the sale of this beauty.

I had a Sako 85 classic.   Great gun!   LOL
