Looks like a decent age on him IMO,good body structure.will be a good shooter come next year!

Yup especially considering he’s gotta be rundown from the steep mountains here and dropped a ton of weight. Maybe that doe was hot. I got like 8 pics of Him after her. Nose to the ground then He hit that branch, made a scrape etc.

Oh come on, the steep mountains?

They aren’t running up and down all day long and 9/10 times they're side hilling.  
 

Like me they just have to eat a little more to compensate for heavy lifting.

They still lose how much? 15% to 30% they say? The pics from Sept or early October to December are noticeable every year. Let’s say 15% on the low end, that’s still 180lbs dresses down to 153lbs. Easier to recoup the weight in Midwest with corn and AG for miles than searching for and eating browse no?
