Lawdwaz Posted January 26 Posted January 26 (edited) Not many wood handled guns get my attention anymore, this one did though. For some reason I can’t get the link up from GunsInternational.com. It’s left hand Mannlicher Model M 270win full stock with DST & factory QD scope mounts. $1795 Edited January 26 by Lawdwaz Mike103 and G-man 2

Buckmaster7600 Posted January 26 Posted January 26 I’ve always like the looks of a mannlicher stock. I’ve owned a few M77’s and still have a 10/22 that had them. They’re heavy and serve no purpose, but they do look nice! Lawdwaz, grampy, dbHunterNY and 1 other 2 2

He had a .308 he used quite often and it could have been a Sako off the top of my head. I’d have to dust off the book upstairs to confirm. Later…. Pygmy and Buckmaster7600 2

Moog5050 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 My sako bavarian carbine 308 with a mannlicher stock is a tack driver. Almost too pretty to beat up in the woods, but I do use it. dbHunterNY 1

dbHunterNY Posted February 4 Posted February 4 all these references must have been before my time. lol my widowed great grandmother remarried very early on and he had a rifle that looks like that. I know it's a mannlicher stock but not sure if it's that same mfg and model. my uncle ended up with it and now my cousin. i don't recall the others saying it was a tack driver but don't recall them complaining about it not being accurate either. i'll have to ask my cousin what it is.
