Let's Hope this Crap does not go Through.

   Trout Stocking would be next.

Then this group will try to Ban Deer Hunting.

Followed by all Small Game Hunting and Black Bear as well.

" Death By A Thousand Cuts"

We all better stick together on this one!

I just did a quick google search and can’t find anything on where the funding saved by doing away with letting farm animals go to be killed for “sport.” If it goes to feeding illegal immigrants or welfare I’m against it, if it goes towards native game I’m all for it.

Being as it conservation fund  money  i would think it would have to stay  in conservation. But the way politicians can twist a program to be environmentally nessassary who know. Wish nys would wake  up  and grant us the right to hunt and fish in the state constitution and  make it governerned  by a game department and all this  political bs  would  be  gone forever.

Pheasants are not native to North America.

I’m aware? That’s why I’m all for stopping the stocking of pheasants if that money goes toward native game.

This Thread will be similar to another one recently.

Not Everybody Hunts Pheasants.  Not Everybody Hunts Deer.

Even the way we all hunt will be different.  Some sit for Deer All Day while others slowly walk.

Some Sit in one spot for Turkeys and call infrequently.  Others walk around more and call more often. While some don't  call at all and Bellycrawl closer or move nearer on elbows and knees.

I am sure that soon the Orange County Federation  Of Sportsmans  Clubs will get word of what is happening on the Political  Front regarding Pheasants.  I believe  their next meeting is in February.

The more Gun Clubs know about this Pheasant  issue- the better around the State.

The big  difference is  native vs  non native.  There are many phesant farms aroubd the state.  The real question is where  and  how the excess money saved would  be spent..   I know tradition  and ease for kids . But they can be taken to the game farms as well.

As for spreading to non native fish stocking.  I have yet to see any benefit from  non native species in  a native environment.  Will  piss  of a lot of people  but  non natives  are nothing but disaster for native environments.  We as conservationists should be pushing for restoration of  historic  species. Imo.

Careful what historic species you ask for ,that’s asking for more restrictions on things .Look at the NYS otter restoration program .Huge political scam .We are overrun with them now with no season to be seen .
