Water Rat Posted February 3 Posted February 3 This morning I found some fresh bobcat tracks on a log crossing. I hope to make a set there tomorrow morning before he returns across the log. The opposite side is too thick and rocky to make a set. I have 12 days left to catch him/her. mowin, Lil zeek, Next Time and 3 others 2 4
Water Rat Posted February 4 Author Posted February 4 Just got home after making a set at the end of this log crossing. Unfortunately the snow melted overnight and I’m not sure if he returned or not. With the daytime temperatures rising and the sun shining , I suspect the coons will be active tonight. That is a drawback trapping along waterways. I hate catching coons in my bobcat sets. mowin 1
Water Rat Posted February 4 Author Posted February 4 Yesterday in the snow I saw where a bobcat was walking under this log. I decided to make a blind set but I’m not too confident in it. I blocked it off a little without making it obvious. It didn’t appear to be a well worn trail but what the Hell. mowin and Mattypotpie8s 1 1
