We have been lucky up to this point. My MIL has been in the hospital for the last three weeks. So daily visits there. I also work in a large public school district. Been illness all around me, but so far, so good.

I drink plenty of fruit juices throughout the winter. Not sure if it helps, but I think it does.

Hope ya feel better soon Larry.

COVID tore up the SHOT Show, I've heard from so many folks who had anywhere from pretty severe symptoms (my roommate being one and is still dealing with a persistant cough) to just stuffy noses (like I had). A few of the folks said they tested positive. I brought it home to my girls and wife. The girls just had mild cold symptoms like me. My wife dealt with aches for a few days and decided to test last Friday (which came back positive). Fortunately we're all in good shape now.

I hope everyone can dodge it, and if they can't, I hope for mild and quick symptoms!

Nomad is a healthy adult. He's not 95 years old with aids or some chronic health issue.

Neither are two of my staff who have missed a week of work due to the flu.  Not getting the shot is a calculated risk ( i didn't get it; neither did these two employees).  But, pretending that it doesn't at least reduce the severity of symptoms is just uninformed.

The only risk I see is getting the actual shot. Unless the flu can potentially kill you, there's no upside to getting it. That's my opinion and you're entitled to yours.

Wife and I got the flu shot late fall of 2016. Very 1st flu shot for either of us.

I was in the hospital for part of January into February with double pneumonia and a blood clot in my lung.  Wife wasn't as bad, but missed 2 weeks of work.

I'll pass.
