Today, January 11th, the North Carolina Legislature begins the 2023 legislative session. The General Assembly currently has a pro-gun majority as in years past, but anti-gun Governor Roy Cooper continues to threaten to veto any 2nd Amendment legislation. After the recent election and more pro-gun legislators being elected, there may be a path to advance the Second Amendment rights for North Carolinians this session. Gun owners and sportsmen throughout the state must stay actively involved to defend and expand their freedoms.
