Lawdwaz Posted February 8 Posted February 8 So cabin fever is set in pretty hard for lots of people, vitamin D is only available in a retail store or your medicine at this point. Lol Although we only have a hard packed 3-4” on the ground (encased in ice) we’re supposed to get 4” plus tonight. Seems like it’s been awhile since I’ve seen green grass……is there ANY green grass OR brown fields in NYS currently?

Otto Posted February 8 Posted February 8 There was some near Binghamton along the road sides. Deer were out all over. Cortland has a thin cover of snow currently.

grampy Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Definitely nothing green in the capital district. And for sure not up in the hills at the farm. But at least the longest month of winter is behind us! C'mon spring!! Stubborn1vt, Doebuck1234 and mowin 2 1
Stubborn1vt Posted February 8 Posted February 8 My weather is very similar to Mowin's. Spent the day cutting firewood. 8-10" of snow in the woods. Saw a bachelor group of bucks. Enough snow here that I should really put my tire chains on. Oh well. It was good while it lasted. mowin 1
Robhuntandfish Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Winter storm warning here for 6-10 inches of snow. See the grass in March maybe mowin, Stubborn1vt and grampy 3 "it's pointless for humans to paint scenes of nature when they can go outside and stand in it"- Ron Swanson

Bucksnbows Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I planted grass seed today during a bank restoration project. Does that count? Let it snow! mowin and Lawdwaz 1 1 "A sinking fly is closer to Hell" - Anonymous https://www.troutscapes.com https://nativefishcoalition.org/national-board
