John from Queens Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Hello All, I’ve seen this question come up before here, but I wanted to know if people have had any luck with rabbits at Sterling recently. I was walking around the McKeag’s trail and the Indian Hill Loop yesterday and saw what I thought were tracks in the snow, anyway. (Thanks for all the great advice about rabbits and cold weather I got from people on this site a few weeks ago, by the way!) Whoever I’ve been bumping into lately, at Sterling and also at Bashakill, say that it’s pretty hit or miss with rabbits generally. (Obviously, I’m not asking anyone for their spot if they have one.) ATbuckhunter Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Sterling is tough for all game except bear at this point. Better off going to stewart for them Bond,James Bond and John from Queens 2
Bond,James Bond Posted February 13 Posted February 13 AT is right. I see more Rabbits at Stewart rather then Sterling. John from Queens 1
ChevyZr297 Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Rabbits? Yes. But when I see them its at night when I'm hunting coyotes. Which roam there too. Usually around bodies of water or swampy area. John from Queens 1
