Going to be thinning out some of my long guns that i haven't shot in some  time . So what do you all recommend .

Agree, gunbroker using the  completed filter and sale prices. I take those that had several bids more seriously as well. Also, I look at truegunvalue.com

In the end, it’s like my Uncle Tom used to tell me, “they’re worth whatever someone is willing to pay for them.” Theses should give you a starting point though.

Right , I'm not looking to retire off selling them , i just want to list them at a fair price that  will sell .

Guns are difficult to sell. Selling them on sites like this do not bring premium prices. Most members already have several guns and will only buy if the item is priced low. Same at gun clubs.

To sell for a premium price you need to list them on line to get maximum exposure. But it’s a pain.

You can also put them up for consignment with a local gun shop but they take a fee.

Everything that I have sold was by using different gun forums. Why don’t you start here?

Yep planned  on it , just wanted a correct price to list .

If you want to sell here or at a gun club I would look at gunbroker, search what has sold in the past, and come up with a compromise.

I had a 16 gauge 1100. LNIB. On GB they went as high as 1,600 to 1,800. I sold it at my club for 1,200. No shipping or listing necessary and the guy was a 16 gauge fanboy and it was a fair price and he grabbed it.

I got less but no hassles. And it was before background checks so no worries. Not that the background check are that bad gun shops have gotten used to doing them.
