What is your favorite type of stand, climber, ladder, box tower, wooden built, ground blind,

Or if your @bizct hiding behind a piece of plywood

For me it’s a simple old school ladder stand with the medal seat. I set them up with a lifeline and a haul rope and scatter the property with them… at $100 or less I feel I get the most bang for my buck and can sit all day in them.

I bought a Summit Goliath probably in 2008, and have never looked at anything else. It does everything I want. I know how to work it, how it climbs, what type/size of trees it likes, where everything is at. I'll probably use it until it breaks apart and nearly kills me :)

Definitely love ladder stands, but I just broke my cherry (can I say that here?) on a climber, and I do love it.  Just need to be picky about which tree and where.

That's the one I am sitting in now!

I did a climber for years, once I had private and semi private that changed. While the mobility of the climber is nice, I am a fan of how easy it is to get in and out of a ladder. Also nice to have one less thing to carry in the woods.

Large ladderstands . Sold my climber and all my hang ons, but one Lone Wolf  . I just don’t move stands around to much, these stay up all year , easy to get into , and comfortable, at 63 with a list of injuries ,limps and so forth it works for me .

Ive two blinds that are nice , heaters, office chairs , hot soup !

This is my Camp Snarker rifle stand. I’ve gone 9 for 10 on bucks on opening day and they never knew I was there. It’s a two man ladder stand. For bow, I’m usually in a hang on with a set of strap on tree sticks. But those are typically for a few hour sit. I like the size of a two man for all day sits as I can get a lot more comfortable.

I no longer use a climber. All those years ski racing, playing football and baseball, and mountain biking took their toll on my body. Happy to climb ladders these days.

I prefer a big ladder stand for rifle season.  I find a lock-on and sticks is the quietest to get into though.  Since I had to switch to a xbow, I have shot all my deer from natural ground blinds.  I dig that alot because there is no expense and being eye level is awesome.  They all have their place.

For comfort, stability and safety: ladder stand.  Final answer.

I like a big double ladder stand. Comfortable enough for an all day sit with everything you need within reach range.

I have spoiled myself with the big enclosed blind with heat though so if the weather is calling for rain or temps in the teens you'll probably find me hiding out inside that.

I have a ladder stand, haven't used it in two years or hunted those wood. I have it all set to go.

I had to buy a new blind for it. I am sure it will have to be replace because what I ended up with was crap. I found burlap after that

The key is to remove the skirt, seat and back and shooting rail pads as soon as your season is done and store them until next year.  Otherwise the wind and squirrels and sunlight will destroy them in short time.

The seat was rusted or stuck in place, it's a swivel seat. It had a cable lock on it and the x hubby lost the key🤨

I never took the pad or skirt off. I should though for sure.

Perfect for me is 2 man ladder stand with a full platform. Mine is with flip up mesh seats so I have a lot of room to work with if I need to maneuver

I have a summit climber which is ridiculously comfortable but a lot of work so I don't use it much.

I really want to try saddle hunting but I don't have the balls yet... or the money to spend on that whole set up
