I   am going to put this rifle up for sale.... Decided to give youse guys first chance...Excellent condition, with just a few little handling dings....No more than 200 rounds put through it..Shoots MOA with  Barnes 250 grain TSX....European walnut stock, single set trigger, rings and bases...Dies and some brass and bullets included...   $1ooo.....

CZ’s 550 Mauser controlled round feed action isn’t made anymore, its been replaced with a cheaper to make push feed model because CZ doesn’t want to replace one of a kind Mauser worn out machining equipment that dates back to the 40’s. 

9.3x62 components are easy to find (standard load is 286gr;) as are a variety of rings for any scope mount imaginable with a huge aftermarket following for CZ’s 550. 

Those maybe pondering an African trip; the 9.3x62 set the bar for minimum legal standards on energy for hunting dangerous game; it’s within fractions of a 375HH.

A fine rifle and in the European twin to my beloved 35Whelen! Although I have zero need for it if it was a southpaw I’d be jumping on this one!

I have shot six animals with this rifle...Two whitetails, two caribou, a moose and a coyote...The only one that did not go straight down was the coyote, which took about  an 8 foot spasmodic leap and went in a heap....
