Gallery of Guns

I'm sure most of us have some interest in firearms, so I figured we should start a gallery of some of them. I know not everyone is willing to share photos of their firearms, but feel free to post them up here!

The first one I'll share was given to me by my father. It's  a S&W Model 17, K-22 Masterpiece. A beautiful old gun that shoots better than I do.

I have set of pachmayr grips for at as well that are more comfortable to shoot with, but the checkered wood grips are much prettier.

Great looking 17 you have there, I'm sure it shoots like a dream!

Wow, small world. I own the same gun and it was also left to me by my father when he passed 17 years ago.

Great thread. Love to see pics of other weapons. I’d love to pick up a nice S&W revolver at some point. But for now I’ve been on a kick for smaller semi autos that I could carry, namely SIG’s. First of all let me just say that I have some issues lately. Lol. My favorite is the P229 because of its size and multi caliber potential. With just a barrel and mag swap, you can shoot 3 calibers. 9, 40, and 357. If you can find a 22LR conversion slide, make it 4 calibers. It wasn’t long before I got the bug and didn’t want to swap barrels at the range, so 1 quickly became 4. Out of the 4, only the 9mm is still currently being produced.

Next up is the P239. Again, after just getting one in 9mm I realized just how great this little gun rocks. I wish they never would have discontinued this weapon in favor of the P365. It’s about the same size, but a totally different platform. A slide and barrel swap isn’t possible because the mags are slightly different from 9mm to 40 & 357. So I have an extra slide and barrel in 357 to put on the 40. I’m currently looking for another true 357, but they’re like hen’s teeth.

Last but not least is my P220 Carry in 45ACP. This one as well is no longer being made, so when I found an unissued never fired police surplus with 2016 pricing, I absolutely had to have it. My OCD was kicking in again. 😂
