Cheap box call

Although I have a half dozen or so box calls , you don't need to "break the bank" when you purchase one. I bought this kit on EBay a few years ago for under $20. All I did was stain it , assemble it and add a little artistic touch to it.  I killed a gobbler with it in 2020 and 2021. I got skunked with it last year.

I've got a couple box calls but don't use them too much. both sound very different but great. One's a KITS cherry box call from Buffalo area. Other is a Sweet Cedar box call made by a local guy out in this area of NY. That one is real nice and Sassafras and Black Walnut. Pretty deep and rich tone. Not as high pitched as other woods like cherry.
