Bolt Action Posted January 29, 2023 Posted January 29, 2023 I checked a card the other day from a camera that I had not checked all season. Ironically that card had the most pictures by far. Over 1700 pictures, literally dear in every single one of them. As many as 12 in one photo, lots of young bucks, and a couple nice ones too. Here is the highlight reel. No telling if any of these survived this season and I'm sure a bunch of them did not but still fun to keep tabs on. nywaw, mowin, Ncountry and 6 others 8 1
Bolt Action Posted January 29, 2023 Author Posted January 29, 2023 I'm almost positive the big two at the bottom are different deer based on that crooked left brow time. Also no idea what happened to that one with the goofy looking antlers.

Robhuntandfish Posted January 29, 2023 Posted January 29, 2023 Wow. Great bucks. You got some wide ones there. mowin and Bolt Action 1 1 "it's pointless for humans to paint scenes of nature when they can go outside and stand in it"- Ron Swanson
Cabin Fever Posted January 29, 2023 Posted January 29, 2023 Damn! You didn't hunt there? Bolt Action 1

I shot a button buck by accident and took a doe with the xbow. During gun i passed on a few small bucks but didn't see anything like these. The camera was actually strapped to the leg of my raised blind.. Edited January 30, 2023 by Bolt Action
phade Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 Some deer shift ranges. I have photos of some bucks we never see in season in person or on cam. A few we see all summer, and only see 1-2x in season. Some are homebodies. neat pics. Bolt Action and Cabin Fever 1 1
Bolt Action Posted January 30, 2023 Author Posted January 30, 2023 (edited) That wide one reminds of a similar buck from a few years back. Likely the same gene pool.. Edited January 30, 2023 by Bolt Action NYRturkeycall 1

It's like they disappear, but a couple others move in and frequent the area throughout the fall... Go figure. Bolt Action 1
Bolt Action Posted January 30, 2023 Author Posted January 30, 2023 Just looked closer at this pic. I think it has those two bigger bucks in the same frame..
