Buckmaster7600 Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 (edited) The night before last I lost my best friend! I’m not a dog person well at least I wasn’t until I ended up with this lab mutt through a long story. It didn’t take him long to win me over. We had a lot of adventures together in the last 6 years. Robhuntandfish Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 very sorry to hear this, never easy. Good dogs should live forever. But at least you got to spend that time he had with you. "it's pointless for humans to paint scenes of nature when they can go outside and stand in it"- Ron Swanson
crappyice Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 Damnit...as Rob said, dogs should not be allowed to die! Such a gift
grampy Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 So sorry. Losing them is like they take a piece of your heart with them. You gave him a wonderful life. He gave you everything he had.

Belo Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 lost my golden at 15 last year man. We have a new black lab and he's a good dog, but nobody will ever replace my dude. Cherish those memories. Take the "Buy and plant stuff and then hunt private land" Challenge!
