Still Packin' Here...

As nice as it was today, I couldn't resist a long walk in the woods. Figured I'd look for sheds and check trailcams. Guess I know part of the reason I didn't find any sheds! Still packin' and must be pretty secure yet, as I had pics of 2 bucks sparring and they left with the same number of antlers as they came with!

As of Tuesday, they r all carrying here.

Most dropped in my area during the holiday season.  Spotted more dropped bucks then ones carrying.  Interesting how one area differs from others.

Wow! Between 1/24-2/3, I got pics of 8-9 different bucks working a licking branch and freshening a scrape that I made last October. All still packing both antlers! I haven't seen any suspicious looking antlerless deer that look like shed bucks yet.

We had 9 guys hunting two different farms.  On one morning sit we seen 11 dropped bucks.  Was a PITA making sure we were only taking does.  My one buddy from Maine couldn't get clean shot at a doe in two days, lol.

They've all pretty much dropped here in our area of 4H.

I guess like the rut isn't the same time all over the state, neither is them shedding antlers!  

If the antlers were loose at all, I would have thought one would have been knocked off when the 2 bucks were sparring. They seemed to be going at it pretty good! I didn't include all the pics! I know I would have crapped my pants if I found a shed right in front of the cam today! LOL I probably would have run home to check the pics!

Just had a small spike walk through the yard, still carrying both sides.
