No, not at all. Have you tried clearing your cookies?  I’m sure @nywawcan help.

I'm not experiencing any issues on mobile or desktop.  Are you on cell signal or WiFi?  What device and browser are you using?  And is it all topics or can you link to a specific one so I can troubleshoot it?

Really odd to load slow on PC but fast on mobile, would have expected the opposite.  Generally it's a cellular (poor reception) vs WiFi (faster internet speeds) that is the difference maker.  Could be a lot of things, are the computers up to date with OS updates and browser updates?  Have the temporary files/cache ever been cleaned out?

All of the images are behind a CDN, so they are cached to return as fast as possible based on the viewer's location.

If you have examples of a particular topic, I can try to simulate desktop loading with whatever OS and browser you are using on them.  In general, if you are using IE/Edge on desktop and say Chrome or Safari on mobile, that too can be an issue/difference.  I'd need more details to test things out.

Another thing to try on Chrome is in Incognito mode.  You'll have to log into the site again as it's a new private session without any browser extensions running.  If it happens in Incognito/Private mode still, then it rules out something with browser extensions.

Can also try another browser entirely to rule out Chrome.  If it happens on the other browser too, then we know it probably isn't browser related.
