Lila's buck

Lila and I got settled in by 6:10. Legal was 6:28.  Wind was swirling bad, but I figured the best place was a field edge because of the wind. 

About 7:30, Lila whispers deer, and it's a buck.  I'm looking but can't see it because I'm sitting on the ground and she's on a bucket. On one knee I could see the buck, but he's 230+ yards out. Lila is a fantastic shot, and was using a bog pod, and she consistently hit a 4" metal target at 200yrds, so I know if she calms down, she's capable. Took about 10 minutes for him to finally turn broadside, and at the shot, he dropped.  Girl is deadly with that .243
