Yes, but 2 yr olds can have 1" spurs too...

Here's a better way to tell, 2-year-olds will have amber colored beard tips when you hold them up to a light. Older birds that have worn this tip off will be all black.

It's the NWTF score minus the weight portion, very straight forward.
