If any of you has ANY questions, don’t hesitate to PM me or one of the other mods!  We are here for likely a short time to help Matt and all of you get this site up. For me, I grew up in a border town to Greenwood Lake, NY. Went to the Warwick drive in which is now two screens. Drank in NY bars because your age was 18 when NJ jumped to 21. I went to Ithaca College where I sometimes found time to hunt and fish. Best friend had a place in Lake George which meant lots of lake fishing. I’m a Delaware River fly fishing junkie and we have two farms (my buddy’s farms) in Otsego county I am at frequently.  So I know a bit about the hunting and fishing in your beautiful state.

Ithaca is always a lot of fun, and it really has changed over the years. I look forward to my yearly trip up there. Even at my age…😂

I bounced and bartended what was then the North 40 Bar & Grill. Big dance bar on the east side of the lake. Maybe 1984-‘87 while in school there. A great city for its size.

Welcome and it’s great to see that so many of you already know each other. This site could take off fast. Just keep telling your friends. We have built a great community of like-minded outdoorsmen in NJ with regular regional get togethers as @Rustyhas mentioned. And we all know each other from that NJ forum.  NY is a much larger state, of course. But you also have a heck of a lot more hunters/anglers/trappers than NJ does.

I would say 90% of the members that joined in the past 48 hours came from the HNY forum… a good amount of us have even met In person
