2022 Handgun harvest thread

I think I ended up killing two with that gun before selling it to a friend.  I bought it from a friend (Pygmy) and sold it to a friend, good karma.

No pics, but I shot two with a super redhawk 44m, and two with a TC contender chambered in 7x30waters. 

Two pistols I kick myself for selling.

No, I live in the People’s Republic of New Jersey where not only can we not handgun hunt, but where a BB gun is considered the same as a long gun and slingshots are illegal to own by anyone. And NY won’t allow us to bring them to NY to hunt.

This is the first deer I shot with my Super Blackhawk. Just happened to get it in 2022 so I’ll post it here.
 

it was my five years old daughter’s first time hunting. To get her excited, I told her I would shoot any deer she picked that I had a tag for. I thought a little 4 point or basket racked six would make both of us happy. I didn’t count on a broken-off spike walking by our blind at 8 a.m. 

I tried to convince her to let it walk, but she insisted. In hindsight, it was worth burning the tags to see how excited she was for weeks after. It just hurt a little to watch that 8 point walk by at 40 yards on public land three days after we shot this one.
