I have one of those pack hatchets that I keep in my "car bag". pretty handy with the hammer back and little knife in the handle.

I have this set I carry for hunting/gutting.  But I don't know if I recommend to get them as I have snapped the tip of the larger knife once and once a whole piece of the blade broke on the second one.   They replaced them after shipping back as someone on the old forum recommended but I haven't had the best luck and actually carried something different after that.   

Although for that price for camping probably can't beat it regardless.

only Gerber knife set I owned I lost. Think it went home with someone. I still have the Gator Machete. not the smaller jr but it's great.
