Tapatalk has slowly gotten worse over the years in terms of bugs and support, so we encourage members to use this website in a browser instead.
There are four main benefits to viewing this site in a browser:
1. The website is "responsive", meaning the layout will automatically adjust and display based on your device's viewport (screen size)
2. You can only see basic forum features on Tapatalk. There are many other parts of the site, helpful links, leaderboards, pages, etc that Tapatalk doesn't show you. Many members only care about forums, but there are and will be other features on the site that Tapatalk won't give you access to.
3. Most importantly, we have more control in making changes to the site. We can't control what Tapatalk does. It has been over a year since their last update until just recently, despite bugs we and others have reported (spammers joining through Tapatalk for example).
4. At some point we would need to enable ads here to help pay for the site hosting costs. Tapatalk ad revenue goes directly to them rather than the site. They share basically pennies. So all the Tapatalk usage by members doesn't help the site financially, but we understand the convenience for members who use and like it, so we keep it installed for them.
