mowin Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 In 2020 I had a hard frost on September 19th, '21 on September 24th, '22 on September 27th. Nothing so far this yr, and next week into the first week of October looks a little too warm. Nothing like a good frost to get the hunting spirit stirred up. LET EM GROW and grampy 2

I'm the opposite.. I want a early frost. Start those leaves dropping now. Otherwise, it's a massive drop all at once, and that makes for a hectic 2 weeks in early to mid November.

Then one big rain and all come off

grampy Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 Need a good frost to kill a yellowjacket ground nest in one of my favorite natural ground blinds. They tore me up good a couple weeks ago when I stopped by to spruce it up. GreeneHunter 1

Nomad Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 Hey I need it warm a week from this Saturday, that’s when they’re putting a new pool liner in , and that’s the last day they’re working . I can’t leave it empty over the winter .
