No frost in sight..

In 2020 I had a hard frost on September 19th,

'21 on September 24th,

'22 on September 27th.  

Nothing so far this yr, and next week into the first week of October looks a little too warm. 

Nothing like a good frost to get the hunting spirit stirred up.

Hope it stays away till mid oct... reminds me  need to check  field corn for  black tip once it reaches that then i dont care  if it frosts.

I'm the opposite.. I want a early frost. Start those leaves dropping now. Otherwise, it's a massive drop all at once, and that makes for a hectic 2 weeks in early to mid November.

Leaves here are always gone by 2nd week october.   Peak will be 1st week. Then one big rain and all come off

No first frost here but darn did it feel like the beginning of bow season yesterday  morning.42 degrees with a feel like temp of 39,letssssss goooooo!!!!

Need a good frost to kill a yellowjacket ground nest in one of my favorite natural ground blinds. They tore me up good a couple weeks ago when I stopped by to spruce it up.

Found several over the last few weeks.  Pissed them off really well.

Hey I need it warm a week from this Saturday, that’s when they’re putting a new pool liner in , and that’s the last day they’re working  . I can’t leave it empty over the winter .

Half Gallon of gas and a flare... no reason to wait for frost.. early am

think of it as a "controlled" burn and you're improving the habitat in a 6'x6' area. lol

Sevin will do it as well early am... nit as much fun... and deer are attracted to gas why do you think so many are hit on the roads...

That’s all we use. One application and they’re done.

Had as light frost on the 20th and 21st, and will likely have one in the morning.
