Opening weekend up north

Good luck this weekend to all the boys heading up north for the opener of rifle . This will be the first opener I think I have ever missed in 32 years . My daughter has softball games in Mass. My daughter wants me to go hunting as she knows the season is so short and softball is so long . Honestly I couldn't do it, I'll always put my kids sports over my hobbies any day of the week .  

Softball dad , like a baseball dad but with  bigger balls . 😁

I missed the ML opener, but I'm I'm North now and sitting in the woods. The whole weekend for the regular opener looks like a washout with rain moving in Friday afternoon through Monday where we are.
