Got 2 of my 3 beaver footholds out this morning. Plenty of chewing and natural castor mounds around, had a hard time finding spots deep enough to drown them though. Guess I’ll have to get some 330s next year. I’m a total beginner so we’ll see what happens..

Success! First beaver. 33 pounder. What should I do with the castors? Dry on on newspaper? Just freeze? All I would maybe do is make Lure for next year.

Congats on the Beaver. Hang the castors to dry for a week or so then put them in a paper bag and freeze.

2nd check 2nd beaver. Got lucky this time, back foot toe catch. @riverrat I’ve emptied the oil sacks into a mason jar, that’s fine in the freezer right?
