Dec 11 - Dec 19.  Then Dec 26 - Jan 1

Of course the the only time I will be free for more than one day in a row...  Dec 20 - 27

 

"Hey, there's a nice four day weekend block there were people are off from work and school, should we let them go hunting?"  Nah...

What four day weekend? Christmas is on a Monday. Kids are on break the week it’s open.

I like the split. Deer get less pressure and start to resume natural movement. Killed my second NY buck last season on NYE.

I can count the deer that I’ve killed, after  Thanksgiving weekend and before Christmas, on one hand.  I wouldn’t mind terribly, if they closed that whole stretch. 
 

The Holliday ML is my second favorite season, Early Antlerless gun season, in September, is my favorite.

Enjoy the holiday hunt a lot. We usually fill multiple doe tags during that week.
