Christmas Fruitcake………..

So we all know fruitcakes are the Christmas punching bag but damn, we got one as a gift and it’s really good.   Dad got it for us and it’s from Colin Street Bakery.

It’ll take us a while to finish it but I think it will last a long time in the refrigerator.

I've gotten them before and they were actually pretty good as well.

My mother in law gets my a small Irish Christmas cake every year...very similar but covered with almond paste and a very sugary frosting/icing. Oddly good!

Yea, they get a bad rap but we are enjoying this.

They really do have an undeserved bad rep. I wish I'd get one for the holidays.
