Minnesota: Anti-Gun Bills Advance in the Senate

On Friday March 22nd, Senate File 606 and Senate File 4312 passed out of the Senate Judiciary and Public Safety Committee and have been referred to the Senate Finance Committee. These bills would penalize gun owners for failing to report a lost or stolen firearm and impose a one-size fits all firearm storage requirement. Additionally, Senate File 5153 was amended in the Senate Judiciary and Public Safety Committee, which added language that bans certain firearm triggers.
